Set in beautiful gardens in the centre of historic York, the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall was host to another amazing Virgin Wines Tasting on Thursday. This ancient Hall, built in 1357 is home to many remarkable collections including silver, furniture and paintings, which provide a glimpse into the rich history of the Hall, and was literally packed to the rafters, with enthusiastic wine tasters! Once again, Virgin Wines proved to be an irresistible drawcard, with Levin Wines (www.levinwines.com) passionately presented by Lynne Levin and Abi, along with Levin Sauvignon Blanc, Levin Rose and Levin Gamay, the tasters were treated to the beguiling MADAME L Gamay, MISTER L Sauvignon Blanc and the tantalising LEVIN Rose Wine Jelly !
Lynne Levin and Abi Blake attended another fantastic Virgin Wine Tasting in the beautiful city of Leeds on Saturday. Over 600 people tasted their way through some 140 of the most amazing wines Virgin have to offer in the lovely surroundings of Aspire. Of course Levin Wines were, as usual a great hit, voted by many as the Best Rose & Sauvignon Blanc of the Show! Of course we had to agree.
MADAME L Gamay created a sensation, with its aromas of rose petals, violets and cherry, with cheeky hints of mocha and spice and a silky supply texture and a seductive finish – no wonder! We were delighted to launch our Levin Wines Rose Jelly, a sublime, translucent jelly made from our very own Levin Rose, perfect with cheese or charcuterie plate, swirled into summer puddings, custard or meringues.
A fantastic day and an exciting tasting !
